Before designing your site, configure these important settings to ensure everything works properly.
AyeCode UI Settings (Critical)
This ensures interactive elements work properly.
- In your Dashboard, go to Settings → AyeCode UI
- Load JS: Make sure it's set to "Core + Popper" (this should be the default)
- Load CSS: Make sure it's set to "Compatibility Mode" (this should be the default)
- If they are not, select those options
- Click Save Changes at the bottom
Why this matters: Without the correct settings, navigation dropdowns and GeoDirectory features may not function. Furthermore, AyeCode styling and the Listimia theme may conflict, causing layout breaks or overlapping elements.
GeoDirectory – Featured Image Setting
Make sure GeoDirectory does not block the theme’s featured image output.
Go to GeoDirectory → Settings
Open the Design tab
Go to Details
Ensure “Disable theme feature image output?” is disabled (this should be the default)
Click Save Changes
Hide Admin Toolbar (Optional)
This gives you a cleaner view when previewing your site.
- Go to Users → Profile (or click your name in the top right)
- Scroll down to Toolbar
- Uncheck "Show Toolbar when viewing site"
- Click Update Profile
Permalink Settings
Make sure your URLs are SEO-friendly:
- Go to Settings → Permalinks
- Select Post name (recommended)
- Click Save Changes
