Your footer provides important information and links. This guide shows you how to customize it.
Accessing Your Footer
- Go to Appearance → Editor
- Click Patterns in the left sidebar
- Click on "Footer" pattern
You are now editing the footer template part.
Remove the Old Footer Content (If Needed)
If your previous footer content is still visible:
Click the existing footer blocks.
Open the three dots menu (⋮).

Select Delete or press the Delete key.
Replace the Footer with a Pattern
Click anywhere inside the footer content.
Click the + Block Inserter button (top left or inside the editor).
Switch to the Patterns tab.
Select the Footers category.
Choose the footer pattern you want to use.
The selected pattern will be inserted into your footer.
Saving Your Footer
- Click Save in the top right
- Click Save again in the prompt
Remember: Footer is a template part - changes appear on every page automatically.
