Every directory site needs key pages. This guide shows you how to create them quickly using patterns.
You'll use the same process from building your homepage - the only difference is you're creating regular pages instead of editing templates.
Choosing Your Canvas (Template)
Before adding content, you must decide how the "frame" of your page should look. In the Right Sidebar, under the Page tab, click on the Template name to see your options.
Default Template: The standard layout. It usually includes your header and footer with a "contained" or "boxed" content area. Perfect for text-heavy pages and standard info.
Full Width: Removes side constraints. Use this for modern designs where you want your background colors, images, or maps to stretch from one edge of the screen to the other.
Header and Footer Only: A clean slate that keeps your navigation and footer but removes all default page titles or margins. This gives you total control to build with patterns.
Blank: A completely empty canvas with no header or footer. Ideal for "Coming Soon" pages, landing pages, or custom sales funnels.
💡 Try Before You Apply: You can switch templates at any time! Feel free to test different templates to see how your patterns react—the content will stay the same, only the layout "frame" will change.
Quick Method: Using Starter Content
The fastest way to create pages is using complete layouts:
- Go to Pages → Add New
- Enter page title (e.g., "About Us")
- Click the + (Plus) icon in the top-left corner.
- Select the Patterns tab.
- Click Explore all patterns.
- Select "Pages" category
- Browse complete page layouts
- Click the one matching your page type
- Complete page layout is inserted
- Customize the content
- Click Publish
That's it! Repeat for each page you need.
Creating Any Page Section by Section (More Flexible)
- Go to Pages → Add New
- Enter page title (e.g., "About Us")
Click the + (Plus) icon in the top-left corner.
Select the Patterns tab.
Click Explore all patterns.
Browse pattern categories such as Banner, Features, Testimonials, Call to Action...
Click a pattern to insert it into the page.
Repeat the process to add more sections and build your layout.
Drag sections up or down to rearrange the order.
Click Save when you’re finished.
Your homepage is now fully customized.
Adding Pages to Your Menu
Once pages are created, add them to navigation:
- Appearance → Editor
- Patterns → Header → Main Navigation
- Edit navigation
- Add your new pages
- Organize and save
